The industrial action

Members of Tube unions are taking industrial action to stop Boris Johnson and LU bosses’ plans for cuts, closures, and attacks on terms and conditions. HOLT believes that any campaign to defend the Tube must have Tube workers and their organisations at its heart. HOLT supports their strikes and other actions.

Although we know some Londoners will be frustrated by the disruption strikes cause, we aim to convince them that, firstly, the blame should lie with Boris Johnson and LU bosses, and secondly, that travel disruption on strike days is a price worth paying if it means beating back bosses’ plans that would make our Tube less efficient and less safe.
